I like your approach. Accepting a no answer from God at times. I to read Job also while experiencing a sad time in my life. I understood his many disappointments. His outcome ” turned around” mine didn’t. But i guess knowing we all face trials helped me at the time.

Thank you Fr John. God always answers in his own time. This was a good study.
Looking forward to the study on the Psalms

Thank you Fr. John. I think my biggest problem is not hearing the answer to my prayers. I think my lack of patience is also a problem. Tish’s miracle has really restored my deep belief in the power of prayer.
Thanks Fr . John.
Sometimes I do question the “No” and try so hard to understand but still the question remains.

I had struggled in the past with reconciling healing and being cured. I thought prayers weren’t being answered when some were cured and others still struggled. At the time it made no sense to me. When I experienced it on a personal level, I questioned if I was lacking in faith, or if my prayers were inadequate. It was very frustrating. Later, as I became more involved in praying for people and learning that people can be healed in different ways through prayer and yet not experience a cure from their disease while in this life, it gave me a wonderful sense of peace as an intercessor for others as well as in my own struggles in life. I can pray fervently, believe in miracles and healings and praise God for what He is doing through those prayers but I don’t have to struggle with the way that He answers—yes, no or maybe. I’m so glad that you brought out the fact that we all have something we have to deal with and know that they will be removed when we experience the fulfillment of Glory in Christ but we still praise God for those healings taking place here and now, recognizing some things won’t necessarily be removed in this life. Very reaffirming. Good series. Love that Garth Brook song, too.
